We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. You will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining large volumes of information into our company databases and spreadsheets. The ideal candidate possesses an excellent typing speed, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to data integrity and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Accurately transfer data from paper documents, PDFs, and digital files into company databases or software systems.
- Data Verification: Review and verify information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to entry.
- Error Correction: Identify discrepancies or missing data in source documents, rectify errors, and report anomalies to management.
- Data Organization: Sort, organize, and properly file paperwork after data has been entered to ensure records are not lost.
- Reporting: Assist management by compiling, organizing, and generating data reports and summaries as needed.
- Data Security: Follow all privacy laws and company protocols to secure sensitive client and company information
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a relevant administrative/clerical position.
- Typing Speed: High typing speed and accuracy (typically 50+ words per minute).
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work with the ability to spot mistakes quickly.
- Time Management: Ability to stay focused, prioritize tasks, and meet daily production deadlines.
- Confidentiality: High level of integrity when handling sensitive or private
